To assist companies to upgrade, public agencies such as Building and Construction Authority (BCA), SPRING Singapore and Singapore Workforce Development Agency (WDA) have been consistently and
unceasingly working with the industry to develop a suite of financial assistance programmes. These programmes aim to
help our construction industry stay competitive and ready for new challenges and opportunities:

Technology Innovation Programme (TIP)
The Technology Innovation Programme is administered by SPRING Singapore with
aims to encourage local enterprises tap on technology to develop and improve products, processes and business models.
Qualifying costs include:
- Manpower-related costs
- Professional services
- Prototyping-related services
- Technical support services (eg. testing, certification)
- Equipment, materials & consumables, and software costs
- Intellectual Property Rights (IPR)
For the construction industry, as most builders are not SMEs, the interested builder has to team up with two other SMEs,
such as a sub-contractor or material supplier to propose a project at the “Consortium-level”. The project team should
demonstrate a commitment to adopt technology innovation as part of the business strategy. The grant will support the team
to upgrade the technology or improve work processes within the consortium.
