Simplified Submission For Additions And Alterations To Detached, Semi-detached, Terrace And Linked House
Simplified Submission System
This submission system is applicable to addition and alteration to the existing landed houses only. It is a simplified submission system without the need to obtain technical clearance from CBPU of National Environment Agency both at the building plan submission stage and the CSC (Certificate of Statutory Completion) application stage. The Qualified Person must purchase copies of SIP (Sewerage Interpretation Plan) and DIP (Drainage Interpretation Plan) from the National Environment Agency and ensure that his proposal does not encroach on any Drainage Reserve or affect the existing sewer lines before making the submission to the BCA.
Application Forms And Relevant Documents
For submission under the simplified submission system, the following documents shall be attached to the application:
- Form BPD_BP03 shall be used for such applications.
- A copy of declaration form BPD_BP06.
- 2 sets of declaration form BPD BP06_Appendix 1 which BCA will forward to CBPU upon approval of the building plan.
- The original copies of SIP and DIP.
- An extra set of building plans marked CBPU at the top right corner. This set of plans will be forwarded to CBPU upon approval of the building plan.
- Written Permission (Planning Permission) issued by the Competent Authority (URA) with a copy of original site plan approved by the Chief Planner, or a copy of lodgment receipt issued by URA, or a copy of the approved electronic submission.
- Waiver application forms (if any).
- A set of building plan with the additions and alterations highlighted or coloured. Any new roof extension shall also be highlighted or coloured on the site plan.
- An extra copy of site plan.
For submission involving clearances from other technical departments, the procedure is the same as for normal building plan submission.
