SENIOR DEVELOPMENT OFFICER
(PROCUREMENT POLICIES DEPARTMENT, BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT DIVISION)

You will play a major role in building the capabilities of construction enterprises in complex civil engineering and building projects. You will be responsible in nurturing a core group of potential builders with specialised capabilities in these key areas as well as to account manage the various incentive schemes on manpower and construction engineering capability development and construction financing to support this initiative.

Requirements

  • A degree in civil & structural engineering or other related qualifications.
  • At least 5 or more years experience in the construction of complex civil engineering (such as tunnelling, deep basement and underground MRT station) and/or complex building projects.
  • Strong in construction engineering and technology.
  • Strong analytical, writing, and interpersonal skills.
  • Able to multi-task in extremely fast-paced environment and communicate with industry effectively.


SENIOR DEVELOPMENT OFFICER
(ECONOMICS RESEARCH DEPARTMENT, BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT DIVISION)

You will identify, study and monitor a combination of global and local trend indicators which impact the financial health, capacity, resources and prices of the local construction sector. You are expected to work with the relevant agencies and industry players to obtain feedback and to formulate initiatives.

Requirements

  • A degree in building/quantity surveying or related major.
  • At least 5 years of relevant experience in all aspects of construction cost estimation with a construction firm.
  • Strong analytical, writing, and interpersonal skills.
  • Able to communicate with industry effectively and respond swiftly.


SENIOR DEVELOPMENT OFFICER
(GREEN MARK DEPARTMENT (EXISTING BUILDINGS), TECHNOLOGY DEVELOPMENT DIVISION)

Your key role is to promote and implement BCA Green Mark scheme with key focus on accelerating the pace of energy efficiency in existing buildings. You will be tasked to assess and evaluate buildings for their energy efficiency and environmental performance under the BCA Green Mark Assessment criteria for Existing Buildings. You will also be involved in other green building developmental works relating to sustainable facility management.

Requirements

  • A degree in mechanical & electrical engineering with at least 3 years relevant work experience or energy auditing experience.


SENIOR DEVELOPMENT OFFICERS
(TECHNOLOGY DEVELOPMENT DIVISION)

Your key role is to facilitate the industry in adopting modern construction technologies. You will be involved in developmental and promotional work to help practitioners re-engineer work processes to achieve greater construction productivity through adoption of technology.

Requirements

  • A degree in civil & structural engineering.
  • Those with site or design experience will have an added advantage.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Able to communicate with industry effectively.


ENGINEER (Post 1)
(COASTAL & PROJECT MANAGEMENT DEPARTMENT, SPECIAL FUNCTIONS DIVISION)

You will be part of the team that works on the various issues related to protection and management of the coasts. You will work with numerous other organisations to plan, carry out studies and draw up the regulatory framework and requirements to protect and manage the coasts. You will also be expected to be able to manage shoreline protection and other infrastructure development projects.

Requirements

  • A degree in civil, coastal or environmental engineering/management related discipline with good knowledge of the subjects related to coastal protection or coastal engineering.
  • At least 3 years of working experience. Those who have shorter work experience but extensive involvement in coastal engineering/protection/management projects or researches can also apply.
  • Good writing, communication and analytical skills.


ENGINEER (Post 2)
(COASTAL & PROJECT MANAGEMENT DEPARTMENT, SPECIAL FUNCTIONS DIVISION)

You will be part of the team that manages the upgrading of public areas in private estates under the estate upgrading programme. The job includes the overall planning of the programme, engagement and management of the consultants for the projects, contract administration and ensuring the successful implementation of all the projects. You are also expected to work with various public agencies and grassroot organisations.

Requirements

  • A degree in civil engineering or project management discipline with at least 3 years of working experience in project or contract management.
  • Good writing and communication skills.
  • Good interpersonal relationship and understanding of the government procurement procedures would be an advantage.


SENIOR COMMUNICATIONS OFFICER
(COMMUNICATIONS DEPARTMENT, CORPORATE DEVELOPMENT DIVISION)

You will be a member of a team responsible for the development of communications strategy and execution of outreach/partnership programmes, campaigns, events, exhibitions and developing collateral and multi-media. It will be your job to stay on top of the various programs and translate them into successful outcomes.

Requirements

  • A degree in business/mass communications/social sciences/marketing or relevant.
  • At least 4 years of experience, preferably in a commercial or government organisation.
  • Able to strategise, lead and plan communications project.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Able to work independently and a good team player.
  • Familiarity with new media landscape.

Successful candidates will be offered contract employment. The remuneration package offered shall commensurate with qualification and experience.
