This "Green Building Design Guide -
Air-Conditioned Buildings" is produced to share with the industry
the good practices in the development, design and construction of
buildings that minimize environmental impact. These good practices
were compiled from the various buildings certified under the BCA
Green Mark Scheme. It illustrates some of the good decisions and
practices that developers and designers have adopted to save energy
and water consumption and also to promote healthier indoor
environments. It highlights the potential technologies and methods
to save energy and water consumption. In order to enable readers to
appreciate the potential benefits of the features mentioned, figures
or examples are given where available and are for reference
