About The Scheme
The Certified Green Mark Manager (GMM) &
Green Mark Professional (GMP) Scheme is to accord recognition
to professional who have attained a good foundation and
knowledge and has the professional capacity to give advice in
the designing of environmental friendly buildings.
The scheme scheme envisions a GMM as:
A competent professional or technical
individual who possess the knowledge and skills to participate
in the design process, encourage an integrated design and
facilitate the Green Mark Certification.
The scheme envisions a GMP as:
A competent professional who possesses the
knowledge and skills capable of carrying out detailed design,
prediction and enhancement of building performance for Green
Mark certification and implementation

Recognition of
Green Mark Manager and Green Mark Professional
To encourage recognition and involvement,
project with one principal member that is either Green Mark or
Green Mark Professional can earn One point or Two points
respectively towards Green Mark Certification.
Maintaining
Certification Continuing education is essential to
maintain high standards of professional competency. A Green
Mark Manager or Green Mark Professional must accumulate thirty
(30) or fifty (50) professional credits respectively every
three years to maintain certification.

The above serves as guidelines for attaining
credits during the 3-year validity of the certification.
Applicants will be evaluated and assessed by a panel and the
decision in the award and renewal of the Green Mark Manager
and Green Mark Professional certification is final. BCA is not
obliged or bound to give any reason whatsoever for not
awarding or renewing the certification.
