Structural Plan Approval And Permit To Commence Structural Works

Application For Structural Plan Approval And Permit To Commence Structural Works

General

The Building Control Act requires that the following be obtained before structural works can commence:-

  1. approval of the structural plans.

  2. a permit to carry out the proposed structural works.

The approval of plans and permit to carry out the proposed structural works can only be granted if planning permission has been given. Thus, you may also need to obtain a planning permission from the Competent Authority (i.e. the Chief Planner of the Urban Redevelopment Authority).
