Who is it for?

Industry firms who are keen to sponsor ‘A’ level, polytechnic graduates, National University of Singapore (NUS), Nanyang Technological University (NTU) and the Singapore University of Technology & Design (SUTD) undergraduates who:

• are Singapore Citizens* or Singapore Permanent Residents
• possess outstanding academic results and excellent CCA records and
• are taking up the built environment courses at NUS/NTU/SUTD listed below:
  • Architecture
  • Civil Engineering
  • Electrical Engineering
  • Environmental Engineering
  • Mechanical Engineering
  • Project and Facilities Management and
  • Real Estate

* Male applicants must have completed or be exempted from full time National Service.

How much?

The minimum annual scholarship sum is $14,000. BCA will pay $7,000 per year per scholarship, while the participating firm will contribute the rest of the scholarship sum.

(BCA enhanced the scholarship scheme for Singaporeans and Singapore PR in 2010 by increasing the minimum scholarship sum from $10,000 to $14,000.)

1. Can Malaysians apply for the scholarship too?
Malaysians are eligible to apply for the scholarship. The minimum annual scholarship sum is $10,000.

2. Can an undergraduate apply for this scholarship?
Undergraduates in the midst of their training in relevant courses may also apply, except for those in the final year of study.
