This booklet emphasises only building works that do not require approval from BCA. Owners should also check for need to obtain clearances from other authorities or compliance with caveats and by-laws which may apply to their premises, including rules and regulations adopted by management corporation. This booklet will not be able to address the additional requirements as they vary from one premises to another, depending on the type of works to be done.
