Complying with CP 5 and CP 88

INTRODUCTION

To meet the continual training needs of the M&E consultants, contractors and people working in the facilities, we launches this 2-day course on Design & Installation of Electrical Installation complying with Code of Practice CP 5 and Code of Practice CP 88 Part 1 & Part 2 to familarise participants with the knowledge in practical planning, design, installation and compliance with the statutory requirements in Singapore.

Consulting engineers, Government and Private sector officials, Contractors and Maintenance staff of building services will benefit from the 2-day course.

COURSE OBJECTIVES

The design and Installation for electrical systems in buildings in Singapore requires the thorough understanding of Code of Practice CP 5 and Code of Practice CP 88 Part 1 & Part 2.

This 2-day course aims at familiarising the participants with the knowledge in practical designs and compliance with the statutory requirements in Singapore

COURSE LEADERS

The speaker for the course, Er Wang He Weng has been with PUB for 23 years involving in inspection & testing of electrical installation. He also lectures at polytechnics, CPG Training Centre & Singapore Power Training Institute on various topics on CP5 & Safe Electrical Installation.

He Weng is currently a practicing consultant involve in lightning protection, design, operation & maintenance of electrical Installation. He is also an active member involved in the Singapore Standard Technical Commitee for the revision of CP5, CP16, CP31, CP516 & Code of Practice for maintenance of Equipment of Electrical Installations.
