Recognising Harzards in Deep Excavation
Temporary Retaining Structures for Supervisors
INTRODUCTION
One of the major causes for collapse of deep excavations is the failure of temporary works supporting the excavation. Such collapse of deep excavations had resulted in loss of lives and injuries to many workers. Excavation collapses could be prevented if the supervisors had been equipped with knowledge on the common types of temporary support system and safe work practices in deep excavation construction. This course is for supervisors to understand the types of temporary support system and supervision of safe work sequences in deep excavation construction.
This course is granted up to 90% SDF subsidy under SDF EasyNet Scheme.
