COURSE OBJECTIVES
This certification course aims to provide the strategic management skills of facilities for senior level managers and executives.
The structured course will provide participants with the competencies to formulate, implement and evaluate cross-functional strategies and decisions for the long term management of building facilities.

WHO SHOULD ATTEND
Facilities / Building / Property / Estate Managers and Engineers who posses a degree / diploma in building related field with a minimum 5 years of working experience in the area of facilities management.
This course will also be open to anyone who wishes to gain knowledge without the need to go through the end-of-course assessment.
ASSESSMENT & CERTIFICATION
Participants who meet 75% of the attendance and pass the required end-of-course assessment will be awarded a Certificate of Successful Completion. OR
Participants who do not wish to sit for the end-of-course assessment but meet 75% of the attendance will be awarded a Certificate of Accomplishment.
Certificates are jointly awarded by the Institution of Facilities Management and BCA. Certificate holders would gain membership to the Institution of Facilities Management.

COURSE LEADERS
Dr. Robert Tiong Lee Kong, Associate Professor, School of Civil & Structural Engineering & Deputy Director of Centre for Infrastructure Systems, Nanyang Technological University
Dr Robert Tiong is extensively involved in teaching, research and consultancy on project financing, construction engineering and management especially on BOT projects (Financing, Risk Management, Structuring, Implementation). He published more than 60 journals and conference papers in the related fields. Dr. Robert Tiong is a member of American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE) and a Professional Engineer (PE) of Singapore.
Dr. Wong Nyuk Hien, Associate Professor, School of Design and Environment, National University of Singapore
Dr. Wong Nyuk Hien is the Deputy Head of Research, NUS. He holds a PhD from Carnegie Mellon University, USA. His teaching and research activities cover a wide spectrum of work in computational air flow modeling, simulation modeling for higher building performance, total building performance and system integration, indoor air quality, collaborative design using high speed network and development of web-based performance simulation models.
Mr. Patrick Foong Keng Yuen , Managing Director, Equation Energy Pte Ltd
Patrick holds a first-class honours degree from King’s College, London and a masters degree in mechanical engineering from NUS. He has more than 25 years of industrial experience in the area of building services design, property, facilities and energy management. He is a practising registered professional engineer as well as a registered inspector (M&E) for fire safety. He is a featured speaker on facilities and energy management in various industry-related conferences and seminars in Asia.
Mr. Mah Chon Seong , General Manager , CPG Facilities Management Pte Ltd
Chon Seong earned his degree in electrical engineering from University of Western Ontario, Canada. Since joining CPG in 1999, Chon Seong was put in-charge of setting up FM offices in China, providing facilities management services and engineering consultancy to more than 80 developments in various cities of China.
