Q. Who are the eligible to register for this SMS notification service?

A. Only BOA/PEB registered Qualified Person (Architect/Engineer) and making e-submission to BCA is/are eligible to register for this SMS notification service.

Q. Are this SMS notification free of charge?

A. Yes, this SMS service notification is free of charge, however please check with your Telecommunications provider on your mobile plan on incoming/received SMS charges.

Q. Under what circumstances will I receive SMS notification from BCA?

A. You will receive SMS notification for approval issued under Permit, Structural Plan, Civil Shelter Plan, Building Plan, Temporary Occupation Permit and Certificate of Statutory Completion

Q. Can I change my mobile number after registration?

A. Yes, you can. Log on to the BCA homepage and go to eServices. Click on SMS notification and select Change of subscriber's mobile phone number and key in your new mobile number.

Q. What should I do if I do not want to receive any more SMS notifications?

A. Log on to the BCA homepage and go to eServices. Click on SMS notification and select Unsubscribe from this service and you will not receive any more SMS notification unless you register yourself again.

A. All SMS replies are sent in 2 batches daily.
