The club would like to notify all members that the PWD-BCA clubhouse located at 585 Serangoon Road will cease operations with effect from Monday, 1 July 2019. All other club activities will continue to be organised by the various sub-committees for members. Please visit the club's webpage for more information on the upcoming events and activities.

Club Subsidy Rules
  1. Subsidy Rules
    • Members are eligible for subsidies for various activities organised by or through the club.
    • Subsidy applies to members upon approval of membership application by the Membership Committee.
    • Subsidy shall be for club members and their immediate family (spouse and children.)
    • The subsidy rates are as follows:-
      • Subsidy for a member
        • Up to 40% subsidy per activity subject to a maximum of $200 per year.
      • Subsidy for a member's immediate family (max 3 family members)
        • Up to 20% subsidy per family member per activity. The maximum subsidy per member with immediate family per year is $300.
      • Subsidy for an associate member
        • As for members above but subject to a maximum of $100 per year.
    • Members wishing to participate in activities beyond their maximum subsidy may do so, provided the activity is not oversubscribed. They and their family will pay non-subsidised rates.
    • Team leaders for activities organised by or through the club are entitled to an additional subsidy of 20% up to a maximum of $50 on top of his/her own club member subsidy.
  2. Application and allotment procedure for club activities
    • All activities organised by the club will be made known to all members. Members are adviced to check the website for the latest activities.
    • Members interested in a particular activity will apply to the Secretary of the SOAC.
    • In the event where there is an oversubscription for available places, ballotting will be carried out after the closing date (this, ofcourse, does not apply to the organising committee).
    • Late entries will only be considered if there are vacancies.
  3. Self-organised activities by members (NO SUBSIDY WILL BE AVAILABLE FOR SELF-ORGANISED TOURS UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE)
    • Members can initiate and organise activities under the club.
    • The club subsidy ruling is extended to members participating in such activities. However, the activity must be open to other club members. The publicity of the activity should be broadcast via email and club website and the notice period (from announcement date to closing date) for participation should not be less than 10 days.
    • The organising team leader should submit all necessary information on the activity, itinerary and costs to the SOAC for approval for subsidy prior to invitation to other club members.
    • A minimum group size of 12(twelve) club members are required before subsidies are allowed for the activity. Total number of participants should not be restricted subject to availability of vacancies e.g. from the tour agent.
