Upgrading through the Workforce Training and Upgrading (WTU) Scheme
Enhanced funding for productivity-related courses
The Workforce Training and Upgrading (WTU) Scheme, an initiative under the Construction Productivity and Capability Fund (CPCF), will help defray the cost of building up a more competent and productive workforce for the built environment sector. Whether your employees belong to the professional, managerial, executive and technical (PMET) or worker levels, your firm can apply for funding support on their training and skills assessment. This scheme has already supported 70,000 funding applications from almost 6,000 companies.

We are glad BCA introduced the WTU Scheme because it has helped defray our training budget quite substantially. This has made it easy for us to send more workers for upgrading which allow us to gain more savings on levy.
– Mrs Sarah Tham, Associate Director, DLE M&E Pte Ltd
With funding support from the WTU Scheme, we feel encouraged to send more workers for further upgrading because it will not over-strain our training budget.
