The objective of IBC 2016 was to increase awareness and build competency in using computational BIM (Building Information Modelling) innovatively for Design for Manufacturing and Assembly (DfMA). With the target to design a temporary exhibition pavilion at Padang, Singapore, the IBC consisted of seminars, hands-on training sessions and online portals. The IBC was held in collaboration with Singapore Polytechnic.
195 students took part in this year’s IBC. They formed a total of 35 teams. This was an increase of more than 50% in registration as compared to last year.
